Boil Water Notice Rescinded
On January 28, 2025, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) required our public water system, City of Kenedy, PWS ID 1280002 to issue a Boil Water Notice (BWN) to inform customers on the North side of Main St., 4th to 6th St. off of Dailey & Main, Live Oak St., Craig St., Sunset Strip-east side of Hwy 181, could possibly affect all of N. 6th St., that due to the possible presence of contaminants or an interruption in service, water from our system must be boiled prior to consumption.
Our system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore adequate pressure, disinfectant levels, and/or bacteriological quality and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of January 31, 2025.
