City of Kenedy, TX – Notice to Residents

Subject: Paving Schedule Notification

Dear Residents,

Please be advised that the city will be conducting paving work on several streets within the city. Work will begin on December 2nd and end December 20th ,2024 in the following order:

  1. Cottonwood( December 2-4)  Mesquite  St to Dead end.
  2. Elm St. ( December 2-6) Graham to Dead end.
  3. Russel St. ( December 3-7) FM 792 to Dead End
  4. St. Mary’s St. ( December 4-8) Nueces to Hillside Dr

No Paving on December 5

  1. Lamar St. ( December 6-10) Karnes St to Goliad St
  2. 1st St. ( December 7-12)Main St to 2nd
  3. 5th St. ( December 8-13) Main St to Ila St.
  4. City Hall Parking Lot( December 14-15)
  5. Woodhaven( December 12-13) FM 792 to Dead End
  6. Business Park( December 14-14) US 181 to Candlewood Suites
  7. Bluebonnet( December 15-20) FM 719 to FM 719

During this time, please do not park or place any objects on the street. All objects will be removed and vehicles towed at owner’s expense. you may experience temporary road closures or delays. We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation as we work to improve the infrastructure of our city.
